Many of our Scouting training courses work best with the support of tutors/ facilitators and we are always on the lookout for new people to get involved.
Could this be you?
Do you enjoy sharing your scouting experience and supporting new leaders?
Would you be happy to give up the occasional day or weekend without any regular commitment?
Have you held a wood badge for more than 2 years?
Then you might like to consider doing some tutoring which we can promise you will be fun and rewarding and you might pick up a few new ideas yourself.
Lots of Support
To support people in this role we are offering a day’s training on Saturday 25th June 2016. The day will go through what is expected of a tutor, how to manage a group, styles of learning, how to be a good communicator and listener and much more. It includes skills which may be valuable in other roles within Scouting as well as other settings.
Coming on the course does not commit you to being a tutor.
