Bradford Scouts tread the boards at the Bradford Playhouse

bradford-gang-showCubs, Scouts and Explorers from across Bradford tread the boards this week at the Bradford Playhouse.

With three performances between the March 19th to 21st, over 30 young people tread the boards with dance, song, and comedy that had the audience seeing a side of Scouting that they never knew existed.

For the last 10 plus weeks cast members have been rehearsing various musical numbers from Elton John to Cherly Cole plus Lady GaGa and the Beatles! Sprinkle in a mix of circus skills, pirate theme and some fantastic dancing which gives the show a wide appeal to children and adults alike.

Scout, Lauren  Age 11 from Bradford Says :

It’s a fantastic opportunity to see what its like to be on stage and have a go and performing in front of an audience, I’m really looking forward to the curtain going up on the first night

Natalie Howard District Commissioner for Bradford North said :

Its not often that young people get an opportunity to experience performing in a real theatre and exploring the creative side of scouting and its great for the public to see the diverse range of activities and opportunities that scouting has to offer
