What is Jamboree ?

The World Scout Jamboree is an educational event that brings together the world’s Scouts to promote peace and mutual under standing and to develop leader ship and life skills.

The Jamboree Experience

Daily life at the jamboree will be filled with adventure , new friendship, and cultural experiences as Scouts meet fellow Scouts from around the world. It will be an adventure beyond anything you can imagine. Hosted jointly by the Boy Scouts of America, Scouts Canada and the Scout Association of Mexico. The Jamboree will take place on the 22nd July – 2nd August 2019.

Where is Jamboree ?

The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia, United States of America, which is one of the most advanced and sustainable adventure bases for youth in the world.

What’s at the Jamboree ?

  • 36 miles of bike track which is the second largest skate park in USA at 4.6 acres
  • Longest combined zip wire in the world at 5 miles at up to 60mph
  • Largest canopy course in USA at 9.5 miles long
  • Largest man made rock face in USA with 218 ropes
  • Sustainability tree house
  • 17.7 acres of BMX track to Olympic standard
  • 5G across the site
  • 5 hour drive from Washington DC
  • 50 miles of river
  • 13 miles of perimeter fence backs onto a National Park
  • 3 manmade lakes
  • Site cover’s 10600 acres
  • Disneyland for Scouts
