Young Spokespeople

West Yorkshire Scouts is fully aware that Scouting is about young people, and using young spokespeople reinforces this message – especially to the UK media which often has an old-fashioned perception of Scouting.

Young spokespeople (aged between 14 and 25) bring enthusiasm and their own personal experience to media interviews.

Initially planned to work during the Centenary year in 2007, continuing the role beyond then is highly likely.
