A BIG warm welcome to our Scouting county of West Yorkshire.
With over 9200 youth and adult members, Scouting continues to grow here in West Yorkshire creating new opportunities and adventures for our young people - and our adults too ! Our Scouting county comprises of fourteen districts from Wharfedale in the North to Huddersfield South West and Holme Valley in the South. With a mixture of inner city Scouting in Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield and rural Scouting in the outlying communities, we cater for the needs of all young people - whatever their background might be.
Our vision is simple - to provide safe and challenging activities for young people with plenty of fun and friendship along the way.
Whether you seek the adventure of the great outdoors, the challenge of a new activity or just want to share fun and time together - we have something for everybody. With ten activity centres and two watersports centres , we offer plenty of ways to experience the Scouting adventure. So, if you are looking for a something different, why not join in our Scouting family today for the adventure of a lifetime.

Just book a local campsite or your own head quarters and sleep out during June to qualify.
